Pearlescent pigment, or called pearl pigment, is made of natural mica and synthetic mica, which could show very beautiful color as pearls, and metal effects, so this pimgent could be widely used in paints, coating, specail paper, plastics, costmetics, ceramics, inks, masterbatches, leather, and all most all kinds of industrials which need the colors, to give a very fantastic and charming color. Because of pearlescent pigment has a very good weather resistant performance, with very economica price, so it’s used to replace the metalic pigment for automotive paints, and some relative industries.

At present, there are over eight grades of pearlescent pigment such as silver white pearl pigment, these pigment has the particle size from 5 um to 350 um. Samller particle size has a very soft and fine color and stronger coverage, which looks very soft with the pearl luster, while the larger particle size has a shimmer color and very bright, but the coverage is weaker. The latest application of this pigment is in seed coatings.

The second is the interference pearl pigment, this pigment looks like the rainbow seems two colors, which is widely used in special paper, and cosmetics. These pigments particle size ranges from 5um to 200um.  

The third is the gold luster pearl pigment. This series is golden effect, color has light gold, sunny gold, deep gold, red gold, which is widely used in our door decorations, and wall paper to make the decoration very lexuery, especially for the hotel decoration.

The forth is the colorant pearl pigment. This series is made of pearl pigment coated with the organic pigment, which is very fantastic with over 20 colors like red, green, blue, yellow, violet, wine, black. These pigments are mainly used in coatings.

The fith is the Metal lust pearlescent pigment, which looks like the metal with a very good effect due to this series is only coated with metal oxide, the color is very luster.
